Cape Cruisader charters sincerely thank you for your deep sea fishing charter enquiries and bookings. The following information we believe will answer the most frequently asked questions on all details of our fishing charter.

1. What is the cost?

The Deep Sea Executive Charter is $220.00 per person


2. What is the minimum Number of people required for a charter?

There is a minimum number of 6 people required for a charter. If there are less than 7 people you can book by calling Ron on 0438 541 535 and he will endeavour to fill the extra vacancies.
Note: A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking (credit card facilities available)


3. What do I get?

All charters have snacks and a light lunch supplied. Bait, tackle, rods and reels along with hands on service from our crew.
Catches are gilled, gutted and tagged.
Local knowledge of our great fishing spots.


4. What do I bring?

Please ensure you have your hat, sunscreen and sunnys, your own drinks and a tub to take your catch home in (Please leave the tub in your car and we will transport your fish to your car).
If you get sea sick or are unsure if you get sick we highly recommend purchasing sea sick tablets as once we are there, there's no turning around.


5. What will I catch?

As we will be bottom fishing, a variety of top eating species will be sought after including;

W.A. Dhufish

Breaksea Cod

Balchin Groper

Pink Snapper

Harlequin Fish

Samson Fish (More for sport)

Queen Snapper

Nannagi


6. What time do we leave and return?

The general rule is meet at day break. at Port Geographe Marina, Spinnaker Avenue, East Busselton at the front gates.
Return by 3.00pm.
These times are flexible and subject to weather conditions.


7. What equiptment do we use?

We use Alvey deep sea and trawling reels on boat rods with braided line and mono filament rigs. Each person will be provided with a waist gimble (rod holder).


8. Tell me about the boat?

Cape Cruisader is a 12 metre aluminum vessel launched in July 2000. She is powered by twin diesel motors with a cruising speed of 20 knots. Cape Cruisader also has freshwater and toilet facilities.
The vessel is equipped with the latest technological equipment to assist in acquiring our catch. So, sit back and relax as our staff ensure you have an enjoyable days fishing.


9. How can I book?

If there are seven or more people in a group you can book right away by one of the following methods.

10. What if there are less than seven people?

You can still book by calling Ron on 0438541535 and he will endeavor to fill the extra vacancies, the sooner you talk to Ron the better the chance of filling those seats.
Note: 50% deposit is required to secure your booking (credit card facilities available)


11. Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are NOT refundable unless the charter is cancelled by the Skipper of Cape Cruisader Charters. (Usually due to bad weather)


12. Can I re-book if a charter is cancelled?

If a charter is cancelled we will do everything possible to get you on the next available charter.


13. Where do we go?

Approximately 50 kilometers out of Busselton to several different deep sea sites including Naturaliste Reef, Coral Lumps, Sugarloaf Rock and South West Naturaliste.

14. Gift Vouchers?

What a great idea for that special person in your life who's 'hooked' (pardon the pun) on fishing and wants to experience that feeling of landing the big ones. These can be arranged through normal booking channels as listed above.
